Our Story

Ground Engineering, Since 1972

Deepwell Corporation Pvt. Ltd., formerly Harold T. Smith, is a wholly Pakistani company incorporated under the laws of Pakistan, with its head office in Rawalpindi. What began in 1972 as a drilling outfit has grown into a full ground engineering practice, now in its third generation of family leadership.

Our strength has always been the people who run the work: a management team built on the accumulated, varied experience of professionals who have spent their careers in Pakistan's drilling, geotechnical and mineral-exploration sector. That depth of field experience is what lets us deliver efficient, prompt and reliable results at a reasonable cost, project after project.

From District Chaghai and Chitral to National Prestige Infrastructure Projects of the Country, Deepwell has put it’s Diamond Drilling, Piling and Geotech expertise to work in the most challenging and demanding environment and terrain for over five decades.
